My brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Debbie, craft beautiful segmented vases and bowls . My wife, Joan, suggested purchasing one as a Christmas gift for my mother. With only about 3 1/2 inch square of curved "canvas" to work with, it was a challenge. I chose the historic San Francisco de Asís Parish Church in Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico, hoping it would evoke memories of my mother's childhood. Oh, my 84 year old mother loved it.
