At Goodwill, I found two framed mirrors that were mounted behind a leaded frame. I removed the mirrors and painted them with acrylics then added several coats of matte varnish to seal them. This was the first, called Blue Mandolin.

For much of the spring and early summer, I would meet my daughter, Jill, for a walk around Lady Bird Lake. One morning, we stopped at Lou Neff Point and I snapped a photo showing the Austin skyline reflected in the waters.
