Trucks!

Image
Two old truck paintings for you to enjoy! First is called  Red Truck at the Broken Spoke and is an 11x14 framed acrylic painting of a red '49 Ford Pickup in front of the Broken Spoke, the iconic Texas Honky-Tonk on South Lamar in Austin. I've now painted three famous Texas Honky-tonks: the Broken Spoke, Gruene Hall, and Cheatum Street Warehouse. The second painting was a photo from our recent trip to Alaska, taken in the Canadian Yukon at the town of Carcross ( Car ibou Cross ing). It's a 5x7 framed watercolor called Yukon Truck . Ice Cream at Hilltop

Image
My entry into the 1st Annual Travis Country Art Show is called " Ice Cream at Hilltop ." Artists were asked to depict a summertime activity we enjoy in our neighborhood. Is there any better refreshment during the summer than enjoying an ice cream cone before heading back into the pool? Art will be displayed at the Hilltop Pool on July 4th.
