"Bienvenida a mi Casita" - "Welcome to my Little house"

For me, this small 8x8 acrylic on canvas evokes images of Southwestern art in New Mexico. It reminds me of a little house in Santa Fe where I lived as a child or the house we recently stayed at in Taos.

Ice Cream at Hilltop

My entry into the 1st Annual Travis Country Art Show is called " Ice Cream at Hilltop ." Artists were asked to depict a summertime activity we enjoy in our neighborhood. Is there any better refreshment during the summer than enjoying an ice cream cone before heading back into the pool? Art will be displayed at the Hilltop Pool on July 4th.
