A Red Bicycle on a Pink Wall

This acrylic painting on a 12 x 12 stretched canvas seems to strike a chord with a lot of people. Some see a little taste of the Mediterranean or New Mexico. A friend told me that this make her happy and reminds her of Chile where she lived for a time. Another friend told me it brings to mind a red Schwinn she once owned. Ice Cream at Hilltop

My entry into the 1st Annual Travis Country Art Show is called " Ice Cream at Hilltop ." Artists were asked to depict a summertime activity we enjoy in our neighborhood. Is there any better refreshment during the summer than enjoying an ice cream cone before heading back into the pool? Art will be displayed at the Hilltop Pool on July 4th.
