I found a fascinating photo by Sercan Selvi on Unsplash.com. It shows a coffee shop in Vanalinn, Tallin, Estonia. I enjoyed the process of creating this acrylic 11x14 painting with a blue bicycle against a cracking wall.
Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcos is an old-time honky-tonk that Joan and I would frequent while in college. The ghosts of Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, George Strait and the Ace in the Hole band, and others that we danced to still echo there. This was painted with acrylics on a 9x12 stretch canvas.
